Dreamworks Animated Series Series Will Skew

The lead character is Tony Toretto, the teenage cousin of Dom Toretto (played in the movies by Vin Diesel) who infiltratesВ an elite racing league that is actually a front for an evil organisation bent on world domination.It sounds gloriously daft- even more out there than the movies. The series will skew younger than the movies, and will follow an original character. DWA recently signed a deal to produce two new series for rival streaming platform Amazon (a Rocky and Bullwinkle revival and a new Kung Fu Panda series) but it seems that their relationship with Netflix will continue as a new series has been announced.The new series will be based on the hit movie franchise The Fast And The Furious. DreamWorks Animation Television's deal with Netflix has been very fruitful, resulting in a whole raft of popular series including Voltron Legendary Defender, Trollhunters and Dragons: Race To The Edge. That deal went into effect in 2013.
